I studied medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. My specialty in Pediatrics and subspecialty in Pediatric Hematology and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation were completed at ,Hospital Universitario Dr. José Eleuterio González in Monterrey, Mexico.

I belong to the Mexican Council of Certification in Pediatrics and the Mexican Council of Hematology.
