I am a Professor in the Hematology Service at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Former fellow in the transplant service at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York.

I am affiliated with the following specialty associations: American Society of Hematology, European Hematology Association, International Society of Hematology, Mexican Association for the Study of Hematology, and the Mexican Society of Cellular Therapy and Transplantation. I am an active member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT).
